  6. very cute and i agree with everyone that you cannot go wrong with cupcakes! i would like to know why she is pretending to be someone else however...and i also can be honest and say i do not know who cyrano is...does he make cupcakes? if so i'll have one!!

  7. I love it! My only question is...why is she pretending to be someone else? It definitely makes me want to read on to find out (and to see how the cupcakes are involved).

  8. Perfect! Of course, if you don't know the story of Cyrano it might not make sense, but I think most agents will. Great idea!

  9. Thanks, all! I'll play around tonight to see if I can get more of the stakes in. Dang...140 characters is short. :)

And, yeah, I'm hedging my bets on the agent knowing the story of Cyrano.

  10. You had me at Cyrano. :) (And cupcakes.) And I'm gathering she's playing the part of Cyrano, not Christian, yes?

  13. I love the title and as Shelley pointed out not everyone knows who Cyrano is. (I do) maybe say, disguise? Or something more specific? I love the idea!! Great job. Love the voice too! Hard to do in a short pitch ;o)

  14. I love it and I personally love the Cyrano part, but don't think it will hit all people the same, especially if you think of "pitching" your target readership.
