Mama Pajama Day

When I was still working outside the home, and I heard my stay-at-home (Ha!  There's a misnomer) mom friends talk about being in their pajamas at 2:00 in the afternoon, I thought, "Wouldn't that be lovely?"  Then I had a child, and I realized that if you or said child is in your pajamas past, oh, say 9:00 a.m., there's a reason for that.

And it isn't good.

  1. I hope that doesn't mean someone at your house is sick... Take care if they/you are. :)

  2. Ha ha -- been there, done that. I've been known to shower and put PJs (usually just the pants) back on in the morning. We homeschool though, so isn't that what people expect of us? ;)

  5. Pajamas till 2 p.m.? It may sound slovenly, but then so much in life seems black and white until we go through it ourselves. Like having two surgeries while taking care of preemie twins. I think I wore pajamas round the clock for about six months.

  6. Ha! I resemble that situation! I put on jeans the other day and my son asked why I was getting dressed up...
