Back to the Blergs

I had a good run there for a few days.  My characters were interesting again, nay, loveable.  Plot points were flying this way and that.  Characters were kissing.  Kissing!

Then, I woke up yesterday, and...blerg.

Maybe it was the impending sparkleocalypse.  Maybe it was the fact that my dog has decided he is now a "couch dog", and I've been picking his hairs off the sofa for two days straight.  Maybe it was the proliferation of awesomeness in the blogosphere world of debates.

Whatever it is, I'm ready for it to stop.

Also, the Pea has managed to turn on a bunch of early morning alarms on Hubbykin's old Palm Pilot that I let him play with, and I can't figure out how to turn them off.  This morning, the Pea apparently thought it was important that I be reminded of my "pbpppppb" appointment.  At 5:30 a.m.

  1. My little guy is really good at programming very random things on our DVR for specific times and channels we never knew we had.

We come across some very "interesting" programs.

  2. We have two couch dogs--welcome to my world. ;) Pea sounds like a sweetheart--and a genius. Not every kid knows how to schedule pbpppppb appointments. BTW, that cracked me up!

  3. Seriously, how do they know how to do this stuff?? It took me all morning to just find the right screen to turn it off. He's figured out how to set it multiple times.

  4. Thanks for the comment about your experience with the H1N1 shot. I stress over every shot he gets because there always seems to be one every time we go to the doctor!!!
He is at pretty low risk too since I am a SAHM but he is under 2 so the risk is high if he gets it!
I also work part-time in retail and with kids in crisis at a shelter so I am exposed that way.

It's going on three days now and no reaction so, I'm still crossing my fingers! I probably will be crossing my fingers and praying until he is 45. :)

    Take Care,
    Michelle

  6. I did...it was a "no" with a nice letter. It's a stronger story now, though. And I'm still waiting to hear back from another house.

Cue Tom Petty: The waiting is the hardest part. :(
