Fine.

I'm going to attempt it.

This may not end well.

  1. You are CRAZY! We won't touch NaNo. At least not this year. Good luck!

  3. Thanks! I'm going to need it. Of course, I'll think of myself as a winner if I get half of it done in November. I'm viewing this as an experiment in crappy first drafts. I'm guilty of over-revising as I go along. I'm ready to embrace the crappy first draft!

  5. I like the name of your blog. That's the only time I can write too. Not doing NaNo this year, but I am taking a novel in a month workshop every saturday in november to help me finish my WIP. I'm at the halfway point and I don't want to start something new.

Good luck as you go for it though.

  6. Thanks, Cindy! Thanks, Tess!

    Mary,
I'm actually putting aside another WIP to get a break from it during November. I'm sure ideas will start pouring out for it while I'm working on my NaNo novel and can't touch it. :)

  7. Me, too. Although last year, I dropped out two weeks in due to fever. Blah. Fingers crossed for better luck this year! "Write" there with ya! lol.

  8. All right, Kristin, we're going to have to send each other some serious rah-rah e-mails because I just found out I might be headed out of town next week, and I have family coming into town for Thanksgiving.

But I can do it! And so can you!!
