Happy Book Birthday to TWIST!!!

It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here!

TWIST is heeeeeeeeere!!!!

You can buy it anywhere books are sold!
Barnes & Noble

I'm so excited to release TWIST out into the world. It's whirly-twirly, fun and twisty, wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey...stuff. I really, really hope that you love it!

But I wouldn't be a very good host without handing out favors!

So here you go...the first fifty people to wish TWIST a Happy Birthday are going home with a swag pack of goodies. Tweet it! Facebook it! Instagram it! Pin it! (You can find my social media links at the top of the page.) You could also leave a review on Goodreads or one (or all) of the retail sites above. (Sorry...all the goodies are ready to ship!)

What I want to say more than anything is "Thank you." Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have read LOOP, who have cheered it on and left reviews, who have requested it at their libraries and written me notes to share your love for pegamoos.

Thank you.

One Day Until TWIST Comes out!

Some people already have a copy.

You can order it from Indiebound, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, iBooks, Powell's, or anywhere else books are sold.

You can also order a signed copy from my local indie, Nightbird Books.

And remember, one of the biggest things you can do to help spread the LOOP & TWIST love is to leave a review for it on a retail site! Even if you don't buy it from a particular store, writing a review on their site increases the likelihood that they'll include it in promos and book recommendations. Just a few sentences (or copying and pasting your Goodreads review) can make a HUGE difference.

Thanks!! I hope you guys love TWIST!

And local peeps, don't forget that I'm going to be at the Rogers, Arkansas Barnes & Noble tomorrow 4/7 at 7:00 p.m. for a signing! Here's the Facebook Event Page. :)

SHIFT (a LOOP short from Finn's point-of-view)

Happy Monday! This week, I'll be posting a fun little bonus story that takes places between LOOP and TWIST. Call it a mid-quel. :)

It's from Finn's POV, and it started out as a character exercise while I was revising LOOP. But after I re-discovered it a few weeks ago, I thought you might enjoy reading it.

Note: It contains spoilery info from LOOP, so if you haven't read LOOP yet, I suggest you do so before reading SHIFT. It does not contain any spoilers for TWIST, so no worries there!

TWIST is coming!

I can't believe it's only 2.5 months before TWIST comes out!
Squee!!! I'm so thankful for all my readers who've had fun with all the twistiness of LOOP. And I'm so excited to finish sharing Bree's tale with you (or at least this part of it) in TWIST.

I have some fun opportunities to win advance copies coming up. (*hint* follow my Instagram and Tumblr accounts if you haven't already *hint*)

You can add it to Goodreads now.

Annnnnnddddd...TWIST is available for pre-order!
The pre-order links are in the sidebar or you can head to my Books tab up top.

Have I mentioned I'm getting really excited?

Books Make The Best Gifts

This Christmas, I am pledging to give books as gifts. (And not just LOOP, although it would make an awesome gift, if I do say so myself.) I'm hard-pressed to think of a Christmas when I didn't buy at least one book as a gift, but this year, I'm going to be even more intentional about it. And so I give you....

The Top 5 Reasons Books Make The Best Gifts
1. Easy to wrap. Seriously. If you can't wrap a rectangle, you probably need to stay away from the roll of paper, period.

2. For the same or less than the cost of a movie, you get a story that lasts a lot longer. Potentially, your whole life.

3. You're supporting writers. Who have put thousands of hours into that book. And who are awesome. (Not that I'm biased or anything.)

4. No one's worldview was ever changed forever by underwear.

5. You're not just giving a book. You're giving a whole world.

What book are you hoping to find under the tree this year?
